Red Ribbon Week's mission is to help keep kids drug free. KMS will have a "Red Out" day, students will have the opportunity to sign drug free pledge cards, and create a giant red ribbon display. Learn more about Red Ribbon Week here.

During Homebase on Wednesdays and Thursdays, all of our students complete activities related to social and emotional wellness. Most of these are done through the Thrively program. Thrively is a strengths based, learner center program. Learn more by watching a short video here. In addition, every Wednesday is Wellness Wednesday. Students complete a short "Well-being Check In".

KMS Peer Leaders continue to mentor the 6th graders that decided to be involved in the program. Students have done many get to know you activities such as board games and going on a picnic. They have also done some direct mentoring activities such as goal setting, organizing, tutoring, and are having discussions on peer pressure, bullying, and more!

Builders Club is a community service club open to all KMS students. Meetings are the 2nd Wednesday of every month, after school, in the Forum (room M53). Learn more about this club here. We are still accepting members!
